Edward S. Gorleski

AIA & CMG workshop Founder

Ed is a New Jersey Licensed Architect. Loving everything to do with the ocean, and having grown up near the beach his entire life, Ed received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science (Oceanography) from Stockton College. After his first job surveying beach and bay profiles along the New Jersey coast, Ed joined a coastal and waterfront engineering firm where he worked on many exciting projects and learned the important profession lessons for developing relationships and running a business. Since Ed's other great passion in life is Architecture, he completed a 7 year program to obtain his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University. Combining his broad educational background with his extensive professional experience, Ed has established himself as an expert in building in, on or near the coastal environment.

When Ed isn’t in the workshop brainstorming new ideas, you can find him playing ice hockey, surfing, or just relaxing on the beach with his beautiful wife and two amazing children.
